New Year - New Skills

2024 - time to make resolutions, or not? How many of you have vowed to be more creative In the New Year? Well now is your chance. Why not join our Art Class? Art on Wednesdays meets at Bridges Community Centre, Monmouth. We have beginners, improvers and those refinding lost skills. Each week is a stand alone lesson and I try to explore different mediums and subjects.

I like structure, so each lesson comes with an approximately 10 point plan to help guide you through whatever process we are engaging in. During the last year weve done landscapes, botanical, portraits, animals, art in the style of etc. Weve used graphite, charcoal, wtercolour, acrylic, ink, egg tempera and oil pastel…not all at once though.

Art is totally engrossing and even when you are struggling with a new medium, it is still relaxing. So if you want to turn your thoughts off for a while, meet friendly fellow creatives and suprise yourself with what you can achieve - get in touch.
